This week Woodpeckers have been working really hard in all of their learning. We started the week by carrying on with place value in maths. The Woodpeckers are becoming really confident with this and have been enjoying demonstrating their knowledge on the board in our lessons.

We also started our topic, Through the Ages, looking at the Stone Age and the different eras within this. We have learnt about what life was like for people living in the Neolithic era and thought about questions we could ask to find out more about this time.

On Thursday we made our Christmas cards! The children all created the most beautiful cards that exceeded my expectations! They all had so much fun creating these and we are looking forwards to seeing how they turn out.

We are looking forward to carrying on with our Stone Age topic as start to write our diary entries and learn even more about the Stone Age!
