The Plaistow and Kirdford School Association (PAKSA) is a thriving and well-supported parents’ association of P&K families and staff . 

PAKSA organises a variety of fun and engaging events for both parents and children. These not only create memorable experiences but also raise significant funds for the school. Annual highlights include the Christmas Fair and Plaistonbury (our Summer Fair), along with discos and movie nights for the children.

Beyond fundraising, PAKSA actively supports school events such as Sports Day and cake sales and proudly sponsors the School Awards for Progress and Achievement, providing a trophy for each recipient every half term. 

The PAKSA committee is run by parents with children at the school, who volunteer their time, we meet on a regular basis, and we welcome new ideas and volunteers. If you’d like to get involved, please reach out to us at paksafundraising@gmail.com.

PAKSA uses ClassList for communications as it complies with GDPR.

Our Achievements

PAKSA has proudly contributed to several key initiatives, including the development of the new school library and the playground Adventure Trail or better known as Bertie’s Boat! 

We also provide leavers hoodies, ice lolly’s on sports day, Christmas presents and crackers, and a book bag for every new Robin.

Our current fundraising focus is on creating a new outdoor classroom to enhance learning experiences for our students. This year we are looking to buy chrome laptop and finish the environmental area for the children to enjoy.

Gardening: If you would be interested in helping with Gardening Club or the Environmental Area we are always looking for help or donations of compost, plants, seeds, bird food, gardening equipment.
