Our First Week in Year 3!

What a fantastic first week we have had in Year 3! We have been busy getting to know each other and taking part in lots of exciting team building activities, including a bridge building competition where we had to work together and put our teamwork skills to the test.

We have started our learning and are beginning to understand that being in Key Stage 2 is a big step up from Key Stage 1! We are learning to take more responsibility for our learning, challenge ourselves and persevere when things feel tricky.

Most importantly, we have had a brilliant week getting to know each other, making new friendships and building our Woodpecker class community. It has been wonderful to see everyone settling in, trying their best and showing such a positive attitude. It has been a great first week and we are so excited for all the learning and adventures still to come!
