E-Safety

We host annual workshops for parents to advise and assist with keeping your child safe online. See our Calendar of Events for the next workshop.

A wide variety of resources are available below to help you navigate the internet and technology in a safe and responsible manner. These are designed to help not only children but teachers, parents and carers too.

CBBC Stay Safe

Welcome to your ultimate internet survival guide. Here are the tips and tricks you'll need to stay safe online, beat the cyber-bullies and become a super-surfer.

Childnet

At the heart of all our work is the belief that when used properly the internet is a wonderfully positive tool for children and young people. We strive to take a balanced approach, making sure that we promote the positive opportunities, as well as responding to the risks and equipping children and young people to deal with them.

NSPCC online Safety

The internet is amazing. Children can play, learn, create and connect - opening up a whole world of exciting possibilities. But how do you keep track of what they’re doing and make sure they’re staying safe?

New technologies inspire children to be creative, communicate and learn. However, while the internet is a great resource, it is important that children and young people are protected from the risks they may encounter.

Parent Zone is devoted to providing expert information to families and schools. We find, curate and check the best available information on all of the issues that are caused or amplified by the internet.

UK Safer Internet Programme CEOP, the IWF and NSPCC form the UK's Safer Internet Centre as part of the European Commission's Safer Internet Plus Programme. CEOP are the UK's awareness node, responsible for empowering and protecting communities online.
