Welcome to the Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School Website.

We hope that on these pages you will get a good taste of what school life is like in our small, village school and just how exciting and engaging our curriculum is.

At our school we pride ourselves on having a strong staff team that help the children become independent, resilient learners who not only have the skills for learning but become respectful citizens and good friends to one another. We achieve excellent outcomes for our children as they transition from Primary to Secondary school – we build on their successes at pre-school and at home when they start with us in reception and help them become successful individuals.

We use our extensive grounds and local environment to bring the children’s learning to life. In addition to every class taking part in Forest Schools, each class will spend time learning outside, making their lessons focused, real life and most of all exciting. Our school is a fun place to be!

We have a fantastic team of governors and parents who work together with us to build a caring, supportive community that forms part of our children’s learning experiences. By providing challenge, supporting us in fundraising, and supporting their children at home and in school, together we build an effective partnership that moves our children on.

We are a small school, with a big heart. We’d love you to come and visit us so that you can see what we get up to and what life is like at Plaistow and Kirdford Primary School.
