Amazing Me! in Robin Class

It has been another busy and exciting week in Robin Class as we have continued our ‘Amazing Me’ topic.

This week, we began exploring our five senses, starting with our sense of hearing. We enjoyed reading Mr Noisy and Mr Quiet and had lots of fun experimenting with loud and quiet sounds. During our music session, we explored a range of percussion instruments, thinking about what they were made from and how they created different sounds. We then became inventors and made our own instruments using recycled materials, pasta, lentils and beans!

We have also started exploring our sense of sight and had great fun experimenting with colour mixing. The children printed their hands in two different colours before rubbing them together to see what new colours they could create.

We have also been talking about the people who are special to us. The children enjoyed talking about and drawing their family members.

It has been wonderful to see the children learning, exploring and sharing their ideas with such enthusiasm. Well done, Robin Class!
