Year 5 - Fox
Welcome to Fox Class!
We have some fantastic topics in Fox Class. We begin by learning about the ancient Egyptians and have an exciting science topic called Alchemy Island after half term. In the spring, we have a topic called Stargazers which is all about space and we also learn about the Tudors. Finally, in the summer, we have a topic all about plants called Allotment- where we get to hold our own farmers market. We finish of the school year with the topic Scream Machine. In this topic we learn about forces by looking at roller coasters.
We have lots of fun trips planned for this year including our residential trip to Holmbury St Mary, where we hike to Leith Hill.
Year 5 is a very important year as we are getting ready to move in to Year 6. By the end of the summer term, we are well and truly ready to start our final year in primary school!
