It's Celery Time!

In science this week, year 3 have been looking at the stems of plants and how water and nutrients are transported around using the xylem and the phloem. We placed celery into pots containing red water. After a few days we were able to see the xylem as they had been dyed red.

Miss Dore also discovered that a lot of her class love to eat celery!
