On Thursday 6th November, Miss Hall and Miss Dore took 45 children to Billingshurst to take part in x-country races.

The Year 3 and 4 team were first to race. It was a tense race with over 120 children taking part.

Next, it was the turn of the Year 5 girls and then the Year 5 boys - their course was a little longer and the start area was starting to get quite muddy and slippery.

Finally, it was the turn of the Year 6’s. The girls went first and the race started with a sprint to the first corner! By the time it the Year 6 boys started, the course was very muddy and slippery in places. It was another tense race!

The teams came in the following places:

Year 3&4 - 3rd place

Year 5 girls - 1st

Year 5 boys - 2nd

Year 6 girls - 5th

Year 6 boys - 1st
