It was very eggciting today as Robins’ completed their first ever egg roll competition. They did an eggcellent job with rolling and decorating their eggs. We look forward to the whole school finals on fryday!
TREASURE!

Red Nose Day!
Robins looked fantastic in their crazy wigs and red clothes in aid of Red Nose Day.
It's Science Week!
Today Robins’ became scientist. We used different liquids to see how fast our duck could slide down the ramp. Guess what… water made the duck move down the ramp the fastest (2 seconds)and syrup was the slowest (2 minutes).
Treasure Maps
Robins’ have made their own treasure maps to help them find the treasure in school. We wanted to make them look old but we couldn’t believe how many tea bags we used…
World Book Day
The Robins’ loved dressing up as different characters today as part of world book day. We had Fantastic Mr Fox, Alice in Wonderland and even Captain Hall and First Mate Moreton made an appearance.
Treasure Boxes
We did some pirate cooking today and made treasure boxes. Robins’ melted marshmallows in the microwave and then added rice crispies with golden syrup to make them arghhbsolutley delicious! YUM!
LAND AHOY!
Robins’ came in after lunch to find pirate music playing and a message in a bottle. They were arrghver so excited to find the pirate clues outside. Here is what they found…
Teddy Bear Toast!
To finish our fairy-tale topic this half term, Robins made some teddy bear toast today and then gobbled it up in one. They said it wasn’t too hot, it wasn’t too cold… it was just right!
SNOW!
It was snow much fun when this arrived last week. Robins loved making snow angels, feeling the cold and writing with the sticks.
Is there a troll under the bridge?
Today we walked down to the pond to see if the troll was under the bridge. Whilst we were there we noticed that the pond has frozen so we broke the ice! It was ICE to see it…

Today Robins had a visit from our Belgium student. She told us all about Belgium and then read us a story. It was great!
Ice medals
At forest school Robins’ collected signs of winter and then put them in a dish with water. They left over night and nature worked it’s magic…
Art Week!
Robin Class have enjoyed making different artwork linked to the artist George Bellows and his picture ‘Men of the Docks’. We have spent the week using different materials to create pieces of art linked to boats.
Christmas Jumper Day!
We had so much fun dressing up in our Christmas jumpers and raising money for charity.

Reindeer Run!
Today we had 25 of Santas reindeer’s running around the playground raising money for Chestnut Tree house.

Robins’ came in after break time and found this cheeky elf on the carpet! I wonder what he is doing here...
Beep Beep... Fire Service came to Robins!
This morning Robins had a special visitor from the fire service. We learnt how to keep safe when around hot stuff and we listened so well we got to try on a firefighter uniform. Even Miss Hall got to try it on! What do you think?
